Family Works is a specialised team with a strong family harm skillset. The group of social workers, counsellors, and Social Workers in Schools provide quality support to children and families, despite the challenges of recent years. They want to see communities reaching their full potential. “We are big on wraparound support and do a lot of connecting with other teams to ensure that we are offering children and whānau holistic improvement. We know that it is only with our wraparound service approach that long term improvements can begin. We are humbled by the supporters that have chosen to help get this hard work underway.”
Thank you to Hawke’s Bay Children’s Holding Trust who helped give 1,190 children and whānau access to specialised local support at no cost last year. “Without our many supporters we could not serve people who need our help most and lead social change together with courage and care.” Family Works is a service of Presbyterian Support East Coast (PSEC), leading change since 1946.
